An Award-Winning Designer Delivering Creative Solutions for Living Spaces
Career Projects
JJ delivered extraordinary full service residential design. She listened to our requirements and spent time in our residence to know what was important to us. Her architectural design took our current infrastructure and created a masterpiece on a blank slate. She integrated our needs and dreams with thoughtful functionality, creative flow, and timeless aesthetics. She maximized the space in every direction (walls, ceilings, and flow), and created a finished “wow” factor expressed by every person who stepped into our residence. She diligently worked with the contractors and cared about every design detail from beginning to end. She project-managed every step. We never looked at our place once she started until the full renovation was complete. It was like an HGTV special, but with more care and time to do an exceptionally perfect job.”

JJ did a fabulous job renovating my 2-bedroom apartment near Columbus Circle. She is a very creative problem solver, a designer with impeccable taste and excellent knowledge of unique and innovative but cost-effective products in the marketplace. JJ has excellent interpersonal skills and communicates well with all parties of the team, including the coop board, building management, general contractor. She has outstanding project management skills and a keen sense of timing regarding the order of work. She kept in close contact with us, her clients, to identify our needs and preferences and to inform us of the progress. Overall, the design and execution of our renovation was both efficient and flawless even in a challenging NYC environment.”

Working with JJ is like working with a friend. She really takes the time to get to know you and understand how best to incorporate your desires within the overall design. She hides lovely surprises and thinks of clever solutions long before you even notice that something needs solving. A great JJ story: I was sitting on a stool in my beautiful kitchen with my back to the Central Park views out the windows behind me. On the backsplash in front of me, I noticed that the random mirror tiles actually reflected that amazing view, so I could enjoy them even facing the wrong way. When I discovered this, thinking it was a happy coincidence, I pointed it out to JJ who gave me smile and said, “Yes, I know.”
